Dr. Kyles graduated from Glasgow University Veterinary School in 1988. He completed a PhD at the University of Bristol in 1992, and a residency in small animal surgery at North Carolina State University in 1996. He served as a Lecturer in Small Animal Surgery at the University of Georgia, and as Assistant and Associate Professor and Chief of Small Animal Surgery at the University of California, Davis. Dr Kyles has authored numerous articles in veterinary journals and published 18 book chapters.
